Indio has been groomed for success, beginning with his constant exposure to music and dance as a child in Puerto Rico; his formative years as a dance instructor at The World's Largest Theme Park; followed by 4 years as one of the most versatile, accommodating and incredibly entertaining, interactive DJ/MC's in the Southeast; culminating in his present performing status in the "INDIO" shows with his attractive dancers and high-energy DJ . Each show has been designed to provide a complete evening of entertainment, beginning with background dinner music, followed by formal, professional couple's dance instruction, and finishing with a DJ Dance Party with dance music from any musical genre you specify! Indio's shows are designed to accommodate all budgets based on the total number of entertainers provided.
Indio is a true music AND dance connoisseur! He has a strong background in formal dance instruction, which brings an exciting element to all of his shows. He offers dance instruction in the form of Swing, Merengue, Salsa, Tango and Disco. Of course, Indio is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English. For Latin-themed special events, Indio is the natural choice!
In addition to Indio's expertise in dance instruction, he truly shines in his MC skills. With quick wit and humor, he not only addresses his audience, but entertains them naturally in the process. He is a master of a variety of ethnic accents. Although he originally hails from Puerto Rico, he speaks his 2nd language, English without a trace of an accent... yet, he can perfectly emulate British, Australian, Indian, Scottish, Jamaican, Russian and Southern accents, just to name several! He has an energetic personality that is contagious. Very simply, he makes people feel good. When you combine a great selection of music; a Master of Ceremonies that can direct, organize and entertain; and finally a certified dance and Tai-Chi instructor, you have all the ingredients for an outstanding event.
